NW Wild Horse Rescue helps prepare wild horses for adoption to their forever homes. The horses are lovingly gentled and trained as trail riding, working, or gaming horses and then put up for adoption.

The Rescue was started in August 2019. As a 501c3 charity, we are a non-profit and rely on generous donors to support these horses. The rescue offers federal tax credits for all donations.

The wild horses are taken from the Federal Bureau of Land Management's holding pens. These wild horses are unable to be released into the wild and need a chance at a life filled with happiness and meaning.

Currently, we have adopted out two wild horses: Blizzard and Blue. In May 2021, we adopted 6 more wild horses. We are trying to raise sufficient funds to care for more and we need you to help. By helping NW Wild Horse Rescue, you personally support and further both these wild horses' transition to a loving Forever Home and the transition of future horses.

Raffles
NW Wild Horse Rescue partners with local stores to fundraise using raffles. The local business gets increased traffic and publicity while the Rescue gets donations to support the horses. Buying many raffle tickets is one of the most productive ways you can help the Rescue.
Donations: Funds
As a 501c3 charity, NW Wild Horse Rescue offers federal tax credits for all donations. Donations can be made online in the area above.
Donations: Items
You can also donate items: tack, feed, equipment...even if you don't think we need it, don't hesitate to ask.
Volunteer Work
We rely on volunteers for most of our physical work, such as distributing videos or flyers, mucking stalls, brushing and taking care of the horses, helping to build or fix fences and stalls, and selling and promoting raffle tickets. Think you would be a good fit? Contact us for more information!
Business Opportunities
Have a business? Your business can host a raffle, advertise and help spread awareness, donate items or money to this 501c3 charity, and more! You can also donate your services. For example, a construction company might donate the rent of a piece of equipment, or a printing company might print flyers for raffles.
